Some yummy ethnic food!

These ones have been tried and tested by our team several times. Since we're supported by our dear members, we have the luxury of making entirely independent selections, and not caring about the ubiquitious 'commission', i.e. dubious places promoting themselves at your expense.

1. Asia Lounge. The best value/money Desi (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh) food place by far. Humble interiors, maximum quality food. Located close behind Fatih Cami.

2. Hadramout Yemen. Very atmospheric and authentic, walk through their entrance room for a pleasant surprise. Fehse is their real highlight, although everything else we tried was also great. Might be a bit busy, as it is famous.

3. Galaktion. As close as it gets for the authentic Georgian food in Istanbul. Khachapuri, Khinkali, Aubergine rolls, they've got them all covered. Close to the Galata tower, also quite busy, but the staff makes the best effort to seat you even when you just dropped by.

4. Alma hanym. One of Zeytinburnu's hidden Kazakhstan gems, our recent addition - it's near to a more famous place, but this one is bulletproof authentic, and once again beats value/money benchmarks by a mile. Be sure to call them in advance if you're coming in numbers.
